As far as I know only Apple ever used the UGA( Universal Graphics Adapter ) for their EFI systems. PC's used the GOP( Graphics Output Protocol ) and I think later Intel Macs with builtin graphics use GOP as they have UEFI firmwares.
All the cMP's use UGA, and I think the nMP( 6,1 ) uses UGA.
I've got a MP3,1 shipping to me, it was listed as non-working, so it maybe a little while, but once I get it running I plan to try and get GOP working on that system, in the hopes we can get it working for the 3,1/4,1/5,1. Two users reported years ago that they got it working, and one was using a 3,1, but no one was ever able to reproduce that work, so I'll have to get to the bottom of it, one way or the other.
