I just bought the MaxConnect Mac Pro optical bay tray from MaxUpgrades. Great workmanship but doesn't ship with any manuals at all.

Which brings me to my problem - I have installed 2 SSDs in the sled and placed them just below my optical drive. I have no idea how to reroute the sata cables from the optical bay caddy to my SATA controller in the PCI-E slot. The cables are just hanging in the front now and it's preventing me from closing the lid of my Mac Pro casing.

Any help will be appreciated!

Check the corner at the back of the optical bay and at the front of the computer. There isn't much room, but there is a cable notch which should allow you to slip a SATA cable (non right angle) through and into the PCIe chamber.

Thanks - I'll give it a shot. Hopefully it will work!
