Hoping someone can help me with this issue. I'm running windows 10 on my mac pro 5,1 using bootcamp. I have windows 10 installed on it's own drive, and I'm using bootcamp 5.1.5621. My display is an Apple LED Cinema Display. Here are the specs on my computer:

When I start up windows the windows logo is in color, but then it switches to grayscale. I've tried reinstalling the display drivers without any luck. I also double checked the ease of use options to make sure I hadn't accidentally changed any settings. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

First thing I would try is DDU. Display Driver Uninstaller. It's free and can sometimes be very helpful removing all remnants of past drivers. Then do a CLEAN install of the latest driver. It really sounds like a driver issue to me. Hope this helps, please keep us posted on you progress or lack thereof.

You were completely right! I removed the bad driver, downloaded the bootcamp drivers, and reinstalled. Now everything is working perfectly. Thanks!
