Absolutely no problems until I move the computer into a new home. First time I started up I got the normal chime and everything was spinning as usual, but the screen was dark and said no signal. After multiple restarts. I got The Apple logo, but the progress bar was red and the screen was very blurry With hundreds of lines in different colors. It flashes on and off from blank screen to extremely blurry lined image. Could I have damaged the cable or the viewsonic Monitor itself, or just so happen to video card gone bad.

I have reset the monitor cable, but not have pulled out the video card and reset it. Will try that.

The monitor is working fine. I hooked up at Mac mini to test. Pulled out the video card and reset it. Reset the ram. All lights are normal., chime is normal, I’m pretty sure it’s the video card. I need to get the data/files off the three hard drives I have In it. Other than that, I don’t really need it. Is it worth investing in a new video card? What’s the best least expensive way to pull files off a hard drive without a computer?
