Hi there ,
I have a problem with my mac pro 2010.
He needs a heather to start and to avoid shutdown.
If there is no heather he stop working or i need to open Logic pro with a big project to keep him alive.
Any idea ?
I already have replaced the PSU.
THX

Hi there. What is a "Heather" ? I see you are working with a mac pro and a audio interface, unexpected shutdowns and you replaced the psu but am lost after that :)

From what folks on the internet have been saying, it sounds like and expansion/contraction issue. Meaning when it gets cold it contracts and when it warms up it expands. So somewhere on your motherboard there is likely a cracked connection/trace that is being affected by the temperature.

In that case I agree with post #3 & #4. Cold solder joints expanding when under load and warmed up making connection, then losing connectivity when cooled down.
