MP 1,1-5,1 Mac Pro 5.1 Mid 2010 SSD Upgrade Problem

Hello, i have a Mac Pro Mid 2010 2 x 2.4ghz. I am using it with samsung 870 evo ssd sata 2.5" with High Sierra

I wanted faster disk. I got a Crucial P5 500GB NVMe 3400MB/s-3000MB/s M.2 SSD and Akasa M.2 SSD to PCIe Adaptor (AK-PCCM2P-01)

I put it to Pcie x16 slot. When i push power button it starts normally but after a few seconds stop filling line and restarts computer permanently. (i added picture)

Then i put it to Pcie x4 slot. When i push power button it starts normally but after a few seconds stop filling line and stucks. (i added picture)

I also tried to see disc with boot but it is not there

I don't know what to do. I really need help.

You'll need a BootRom update to boot a NVMe SSD.
The BootRom update comes with installing Mojave.
After running the installer , you can use the NVMe with High Sierra, Mojave etc.

If you like to stay on High Sierra and only need the Metal GPU for updating the BootRom, I'd look for a cheap card like e.g. a Nvidia GTX 680 (Kepler family).

There is always the option to get to a newer boot rom by reconstruction...
