Greetings,
I'm experiencing three strange connectivity issues that I'm quessing are related.
1) I'm unable to update or purchase apps on the App Store. The progress circle-icon spins but nothing more. Please see attachment.
2) Apple Calendar app is giving repeated error messages. Please see attachments.
3) Using Safari, when I click the reCaptcha checkbox to access my PayPal invoicing account I get an unending progress wheel. This works as it should in Chrome, however. Please see attachment.
- I restarted the Mac.
- Restarted the modem and router.
- Made sure my VPN was off.
- Did an internet speed test... no issues there.
- Called Apple tech support— the support person said she felt one of the recent Mojave security updates may have broken something. She felt an update to Catalina or Big Sur would likely fix everything, and of course neither OS upgrade is an option for the awesome but aging 5,1 natively.
My other Mac is an early 2013 Macbook Pro, also running 10.14.6. I'm experiencing the same App Store and Calendar issues with it, but not the PayPal reCaptcha issue using Safari. Strange stuff?
Anyone else experiencing these kinds of buggy issues with their 5,1'? Any troubleshooting suggestions?
Thank You!
