Is there a video card for the mac pro 5.1 that does NOT use any external power connectors and supports displayport or minidisplay port? If I go for a gtx680 that uses both of my power headers, I would like to also have a card for boot screens that does not require a power header. My monitor can handle multiple inputs so I like to connect this card for boot screen support.

Thanks

You can use a gt120 that Apple has put in the prior generation machines it does not require any connectors from the logic board, it has DVI and Mini-DP connectors on it.

Thanks, I'll look for one.
