I have a Mac 5,1with a RX580. I made the mistake of updating my Mac thinking it was just apps from the app store.... It was Ventura!!!.

So that particular Drive keeps crashing.... Is there a way to reinstall reload Monterry? All my efforts have been for not. Please help!
Thank you.

I did the same thing! So I totally understand your problem. I have a W5500 in mine, but roughly the same process. So here's what I did:
  1. After realizing what I'd done, I immediately put a Mac-flashed Radeon HD 5770 in the machine. If you don't have a Mac-flashed video card like the 5770, you can pick one up for like $25.
  2. I then used one of my spare Macs, a 2010 Mac mini, to create a High Sierra bootable USB installer.
  3. I put the thumb drive in, booted up while holding Option to get to the boot picker, and installed High Sierra.
  4. I then downloaded OpenCore Legacy Patcher and used a different USB drive (just in case I needed to reinstall High Sierra again) to create a Monterey bootable USB.
  5. I set OCLP to boot by default (hold Control while clicking the thumb drive in the boot picker), so that I could put back in the W5500 (RX 580) and have no issues.
  6. I took out the 5770 and put back in the W5500 (RX 580 in your case), and it booted to OCLP. I then erased the destination drive and installed Monterey and was up and running in about an hour.
This process should work just fine for you. Obviously if you have further questions, I'm happy to help. But let me know how it goes!
