Screen started to glitch and twitch yesterday, whole computer froze . Turned it off and now computer boot chimes but that's it and screen goes to vertical lines . No lights on the processor board , checked ram . Already did the pvram reset .

What video card is it? Does the problem persist using a different monitor or cable?

Do you have another video card to try in your Mac Pro? Depending on the OS you are running, even a standard PC card will do.

Thanks for the reply turned out to be the GPU, just bought a new one and good to go
