Just FYI,

GPU 0 - reports D500 w/2GB RAM & 1392 GFLOPS
GPU 1 - reports D500 w/2GB RAM & 288 GFLOPS

3962 MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU (12 reported)
6526 MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU (12 reported)

I don't see any GPU results reported, so I'm guessing they're not being used.

Kind of interesting that even at ~94% CPU used, the new Mac Pro is still EXTREMELY quiet. A lot quieter than my Late 2012 Mac Mini @ 20% CPU used (80% idle).

Also, the UPS is displaying ~325 watts currently, and my little infrared thermometer says the top of the Mac Pro is between 110F and 112F.

This Late 2012 Mac Mini reports:
HD4000 154 GFLOPS
4430 MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU (8)
12535 MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU (8)

So the mini CPU is faster in this test?

What UPS are you using, my old APC one needs replacing soon and would like one with wattage display (unless that is software).

My SMT1000I (UK model) has a percentage load and wattage display and is Pure Sine Wave. You could use the SMT1500 if you needed more runtime.

Thanks for this.

I'm using 2 older iMacs (dual core) right now.
Probably don't need a nMP but I want to put it to work on the grid.

So the mini CPU is faster in this test?

Ran the CPU benchmark again with just one CPU on the nMP.

4756 Whetstone
13478 Dhrystone
