So as the title says do the ES chips work in a Mac Pro? The model would be a 4,1 dual 2.26 I have that I am thinking of upgrading with a couple of the hex core 3.33mhz ES chips.

I think we've had reports of some working here but ES chips are never advisable to use. They may contain flaws that didn't make it to the final product. Whenever possible, avoid the temptation of using what is effectively a "closed beta" chip.
