Hi,
(excuse me for my english, I am french)
I would like to know if some of you have already used an oculus quest with oculus link on a 7.1 Mac Pro, via bootcamp and if it works correctly ?
an other question : If I put a nvidia card in the mac pro, is the card matching with parallel desktop (to use some 3D softwares) or only on bootcamp (because drivers)
thank you very Much

I have a quest 2 that works fine with the link and Mac Pro under boot camp (5700x card).

I don’t have first hand experience with NVIDIA in the new Mac Pro but my understanding the newer cards without MacOS drivers aren’t seen by the OS at all. Parallels uses a virtual driver to translate windows DirectX to MacOS calls. Not sure if the translation is to Metal or OpenGL but either way Parallels won’t be able to access the NVIDIA card because MacOS can’t access it. You will only get access to the card in boot camp

thanks a lot For your answer !
The 5700x works fine with oculus link in windows 10 , so ? I want to modify some .OBJ with tilt brush and save them to work with Zbrush or Blender.

Yes. I’ve had no issues at all under Win10 launched from boot camp.
