I am trying [/B]to compress my video from mpeg to a web file with the same video quality as I have shot it. I am confused on how to do this. I have a mac pro, and it comes with an automatic compresser is this possible to do this? And does anyone have the scoop on Final Cut 2 it is being delivered in May, However I want a review before I decide to purchase the upgrade?

if you have quicktime pro:

file>export>options>video settings:
use H.264, set to about 90 and work down until you're happy with quality/file size.

Sorry to tell you this but that is never going to happen. By compressing your video (i.e removing information from it to make it smaller) you automatically lose quality. The art of compressing is to get the best possible quality with an optimal file size for your target audience.
