Hi, just wondered if this is normal

on my dual CPU Pro, when I am photo editing, the fans get really loud, and I wondered why, so checked the Temps using MACS FAN CONTROL

CPU A reads

CPU A DIODE 44
CPU A Heatsink 39
CPU A Core from PCECI 49

CPU B Diode 79
CPU B Heatsink 37
CPU B core from PCECI 99

there is clearly an issue on CPU B where the Diode and PCECI are way more than CPU A, and wondered why this is, and if these temps are driving the fans to max speed, and how I combat this?

TIA

I will check the thermal and redo both CPUs but no, this is a native 5,1

While you are re-doing it, invert the processors position.

It will be easier to diagnose, if it's the same socket that is overheating after you changed the Xeons, it's something going on with the heatsink/sensor/socket itself.
