Lame. My 6 core Mac pro's shipping just changed from an estimated delivery of June 26-28 to July 4-5. Sigh I wonder how long this will actually take....

I ordered a 6-core 16 days ago and have not heard a word. Of course I reside in Germany which has low priority and also I didn't order directly at Apple because I find their stores repulsive. But anyway I never had this problem before, which is odd since there is no new technology in that machine. What is taking them so long? It can't be demand...

If you didn't order at Apple then do you really know it's an Apple problem? Or is it a reseller issue? I recently ordered a bunch of Epson inks... my reseller screwed up the order... I'm not blaming Epson.

feel the OP's pain, you just want your new Mac Pro urgently, it will come, and its going to be epic! Mine took 9 working days to arrive, direct from an order with apple to my door.

If yours is ordered vial a 3rd party, then talk to them.

Of course I talked to them, three times already. They say Apple does not deliver. They say Apple does not give any indication whatsoever as to when they will deliver. Nor will Apple give any explanations.

I ordered a BTO 12 core Mac Pro on the 30th of June.
I am in the UK and mine took 4 working days flat to arrive. But I chose express delivery aswell, so maybe that was the case.

Did you do standard shipping or express?

They must keep some stock of the base Mac pro at their stores.
If you havnt ordered a BTO machine, you could just cancle that and get one from the Store. But call the store you would be going to and confirm.

Alright, it came today, I am happy to replace my old 1,1 MacPro with the "new" 6-core.
But I will probably never find out why it took 18 days to arrive...
