I found the image that is displayed when the mac pro's door is ajar. Has anyone ever seen it actually displayed? Where is the sensor on the system?

The G5 had a sensor. When you opened the clear panel, the fans would kick up in to high speed. I have not witnessed anything similar with my mac pro.

post this image that you found. perhaps it is for the G5?

I would assume its talking about the Side of the computer.

If he's talking about the side panel, the Mac Pro no longer have a sensor for it. The side panel can be unlatched and opened anytime, even when the computer is on.

I sometimes have my mac pro running without the side panel.

It is for the G5. Notice the port layout on the front of the case?
