Mac Pro Dual CPU Thread Allocation

Greetings fellas,

is there a way to control which threads are processed by which CPU in a dual-CPU Mac Pro?

I want to run a CPU and GPU-heavy application on one processor and a screen casting application on the other, so as to share the workload and not lose FPS on the graphically intense first application.
