How much RAM do you have now? Are you noticing any slow downs? How many page outs? More RAM does not necessarily help if you aren't using it.

HD is the biggest bottleneck so the SSD should definitely be worth it.

intel has the new ssd coming out on the 28th of march you may want to wait for the test scores on it. the 160gb size will be about 315 usd it may work better then owc's ssd

This. Going up to 8GB was a huge performance improvement when working with video and/or multiple apps open at the same time. Check out macsales dot com they have decent prices on RAM.
