Mac Pro Hard Drive Trays Compatibility

I am so sorry if this is in the wrong forum section this is my first time posting. I am buying a Mac Pro 4.1 and asked myself if the Hard Drive Trays from the Mac Pro 1.1 are compatible and fit in the 4.1

The only difference I see is that the 2009 and up have 6 screws instead of 4 so with hard drives that would not make a huge difference, unless the sizes are different?

The trays are different lengths. If you try to use an earlier tray in a 2009 or later the hard drive won't go in far enough to plug into the computers SATA connectors

Simple answer cMP 1,1, 2,1 and 3,1 use a shorter tray then the 4,1 and 5,1.

That 6 mount points are OWC thing (it’s good indeed). The Apple tray also only has 4 mount points, and cannot accommodate the modern high capacity HDD.
