Mac Pro Hard Drive

What's the usual/best hard drives for a 4.1 Mac Pro? I actually have 2 Sata added, I was wondering in which direction I should go if I want a 2 TB even bigger (If it exist?)

There are 3 TB 3.5" S-ATA HDDs now, but also know, that most HDDs do not even saturate S-ATA 1.5 Gbps (S-ATA I).
3 TB should be had for 150 USD and less nowadays.

I like Hitachi 7200RPM platter drives. Instead of opting for the largest HDs available, to keep costs down, my strategy was to use TB drives for projects. I have 3 in a RAID-0 array. But I did procure a single 3 TB disk for the fourth bay to use for backups.
