Just purchased an Ocho Mac Pro, 4 GB Ram, xt1900. Why would I buy apple's hard drives when CompUSA is going out of business and has 750 GB drives for $175 a piece. Gotta love when Fry's comes in next door and the little guys have a huge blowout, going out of business sale!

Overrated. You can get both the speed, performance and storage dwarfing the Raptors by buying two 1TB drives and setting them up in RAID 0.
How much do those cost?
