My Mac was working great, no issues. One day I went and opened the screen and noticed it was running but I couldn’t see a display.
I pressed some buttons and the desktop came up for a few seconds and then went black and wouldn’t show a display again.
I have tried plugging it into the wall and resetting the management controller and no luck.
Could someone help me out?
It’s a 2010 MacBook Pro

Could be the display, could be the motherboard.
How's the battery? Is it the original one?

8 years is a pretty good life to get out of a laptop.
Might be time to start looking around at newer options...
