Lately I have noticed a high pitch sound from my Mac Pro when high bandwidth network transfers are conducted. I have conducted a test with four different test. Please take a look at it: http://youtu.be/JnjTngUutcU

Have you been noticing this on your Mac Pro?

The video is almost done uploading at 81% so it should be available in a few minutes.

I haven't heard this myself, but I recall a few posters with a similar issue when the nMP was released.

Is this similar to your problem?

Yes, that is the same problem. I have noticed after purchasing a thunderbolt display (LG 34UM95) a few months ago and when network is accessed. Do you have a Mac Pro?

Mine has the same problem, but I've narrowed it down to heavy read/writes from my internal SSD.
