Anyone recommend a keyboard cover which covers not only the keys but also the gap between the keyboard and case? So a cover just larger than the black rim around the keys and over the metal. So as to stop bits getting in tat gap. If there isn't one a recommendation would still be appreciated.

Using a keyboard cover on newer MacBook is not recommended because when you close the lid, it can damage your screen.

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure how it would cause damage any more than the keyboard itself which contacts the screen when the lid is closed. I do not close the lid on my laptops to prevent finger grease getting on the screen (over time this damages the coating). I always put a sheet of thin paper when I have to close it so having a cover will not be a problem for me.

An old co-worker of mine had a keyboard cover on an M1 Air that he used. When he left the job we had to send that machine off to get the screen replaced because the imprint that it left just couldn't be removed no matter how much we tried to clean it.

I agree it would as does the keyboard if not cleaned before closure. My solution is as I describe above.

I was skeptical but found this one to have an impressively precise fit:

Additionally, I purchased this to place in between the display and top case/keyboard (as well as the second for display cleaning):

No noticeable damage whatsoever, at least to me.

P.S. Although, I see I need to do some light dusting/cleaning.

Nice, thanks. Do not fit my A2918 I guess!
I couldn’t find anything definitive. However, as far as I am aware, the 14-inch and 16-inch use the same keyboard (i.e., size, number of keys), and I found a reviewer for the EU (ISO layout) stating “Fits Macbook Pro 16" 2023 M3 UK"
