Hello,

Is there anything I can do to upgrade my Mac Pro to MacOS Ventura?

Nope. Ventura requires an AVX 2.0 system which is Haswell and later I think. And even Haswell CPUs can't natively boot Ventura...

The people at OCLP are working hard to develop a "solution." (I'm putting that in quotes because it might not even work and thus might not be a solution.)

Last I saw, people had managed to get it running but with a lot of effort and still with various problems still to address. :(

They've done great work however.

You might have an easier time finding a pre-owned 7,1 and migrating to that machine. They are still costly second hand but they are a good machine.

Very pricey. Trying to keep my Mid-2012 around as long as possible.

AVX/AVX2 is the problem they're facing right now. I believe someone is trying to create some type of emulator, though, to get around this. That's just 1 of many problems, there is no USB 1 or Ethernet support, among other things. I do hope that they can get it running stably but if they do I think performance is going to take a big hit, if you're needing to run an emulator on top of most things you aren't going to see performance similar to Monterey, it's gonna take a hit.
