My Mac Pro 3,1 has been patched with the APFS rom patcher. I made a Mojave patcher USB on another Mac and made the post install patches for the 3,1 and everything works on the other Mac. I put the HDD into my 3,1 and it does not work with the new GTX 680 I got. No signal. and the RX 560 doesn’t get any signal either?! Could the APFS ROM Patcher have bricked my Mac? I can’t reset the PRAM!

Plug a USB Keyboard directly on the usb Ports, no Hub, no USB3 Card.

Pull Power for 15 Seconds, wait 5, hold cmd-alt-p-r, turn on and keep holding the 4 keys for 3 Minutes.

until it hopefully chimes 4 times.

this is a smc reset plus a deep nvram reset triggering garbage collection.
