They though Mac pro was an iphone.
Didn't they also leave out the MacBook, MacBook Pro and the Mac Mini?
or better, an iPad Pro.
I emailed Tim Cook last week asking what's up with the Mac Pro.
I'll let you know if I ever get a response.
Maybe if we all did that, he'd get the message.

You sir, are an optimist, and I applaud you for it.
Unfortunately, anything addressed to Tim automatically goes into trash, if you're not a shareholder.

Well, I got Steve to respond to me once with a blatant lie.No it doesn't. He answers his emails. I've corresponded with him before and it was personally him, not an assistant.
They left out the Macbook Pro and the Mini, you're right.
Maybe the mini is going end-of-life too? Lol

Keep pushing, Maybe Tim will revive the Moribund MacPro with your prodding.
Maybe he's more concerned about social issues than a Professional Computing platform. I suppose that's laudable, maybe he can turn Apple into a philanthropic organization. You misunderstood, I'm not prodding for anything. Just merely stating that he does read and respond to emails at least sometimes. We've communicated about social issues and the future of Apple in general. He has always responded to me. The future of the MacPro is dubious at best. I would look for a completely new line if they were to decide on a new mega-power system in the distant future.
I couldn't have said it better not to mention way over priced $There will be some ultra slim rose gold underpowered laptops left too...
Right? I miss some old school electronics, like HP RPN calculators & LaserJets, 80s Bang & Olufsen, tank-like Mercedes. Back when 'heft' certainly was an indication of quality, and not a race to make things as light & cheap as possible.I like that the jazzy 4/4 backing music includes people shouting "Maps!" on the upbeat.
@velocityg4 did you ever have to lift a first generation LaserWriter? It is so heavy that even with twenty-first century compression algorithms, a two-dimensional representation of the printer could not be streamed without breaking the Internet.
