I no longer have the holding bracket for the PCIE Bracket and was wondering if I could use (#6-32) screws in each of the holes instead, or does it use a different type of screw?

I tried using #6-32 screws, and they are not a perfect match. They will go in only one turn and then stick, so the head never actually reaches the top of the PCIe bracket to hold it securely -- it just sticks out in space. When you unscrew them, you can easily drop them into the gap between the front panel and the PCIe frame, and then they fall down under the CPU tray; happened to me twice.

Instead, I found these thumbscrews with big knurled heads that are metric 3.5mm (M3.5), and they work perfectly, screwing all the way down on top of the PCIe card brackets.

Anyone know if there are any proper screw lds that can fit UNDER the bracket? I have one little pci cover that is not actually plugged into a pci slot but needs to be there for ports and since it does now have its own screw it’s very easy to push it into the case even with the top bracket hold it down.

The top bracket has a little space routed out above the slot covers that aren’t screwed in by the bracket itself, to accommodate the head of a small screw. But what would be the right screw for that?
