Mac Pro Resets Desktop After Every Restart.

I just got my new mac pro in the mail last week. Every time i restart my machine, it defaults back to the Aqua desktop, instead of the Leopard space one. How do i go about fixing this?

I'm not quite sure what you're saying, but did you rename the Home folder?

i did not rename my home folder. let me walk you through my issue.

i start up my computer, the desktop is the blue desktop. before i restarted the computer, the desktop was the pink and purple leopard "space" desktop.

so i change it back to the leopard desktop, and restart again. and its back to the blue desktop.

everything else is still the same. nothing else changes but the desktop image.

Okay, thanks. Find a file named com.apple.desktop.plist and drag it out of the Preferences folder. Restart, change your Desktop and then restart again. Hopefully that helps.
