Hi,
I have a 1st Gen Dual 3.0GHz Mac Pro that keeps restarting itself.
It started off that it would boot up into OSX and at a random time it would reboot, whether it was being used or just idle.
Now it has got to the point that it will restart just after the chimes of just after the OS has loaded.
I have tried resetting the PRAM and SMC and have removed all the unnecessary components and used minimum ram.
Also whilst it was booting into the OSX I installed a temperature monitor that reported no problems with the temperatures.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I know it is a geriatric machine , I just wanted to get a little more life from it
Thanks.
