So I'm planning on getting the new Intel-powered desktop Mac whenever it comes out, whether it be tomorrow or later...

Anyhow, I currently have a pc with DDR 2 RAM (667 MHz) and some Serial-ATA-I drives.

Anyone think that I'll be able to use these parts in the newest Pro desktop Macs. Currently, the aforementioned hardware works with the latest Powermac G5s. I just hope I can cannibalize my PC with the newer Intel Mac desktops when they come out.

I would imagine that you could use those parts. Although, I guess that Apple could use 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM instead of the 667MHz variety used in current Intel-based Macs. :)

I don't wanna be rude, but these kindz of threads are startin' to piss me off! Everything about the Mac Pro is speculative, so no one except the execs at apple no anything about the Mac Pro. Please just wait till tomorrow to find out!
