So that is why the wife has never let me join her on her Costco trips!

Great price. Dabs have them at £2322. Beyond that there aren't many places selling them at sub £2400 prices, but I'm not sure how long Apple will be able to hang onto £2499.

Costco UK appear to be selling only the 6-core online, from £3099 for the 16GB version (Apple price £3299). They charge less for RAM, too: 64GB is £3799 versus Apple's £4359. Is Costco brand RAM and good? :)

Strange mixture of 'other stuff': both models of 27" iMac but HHD only and upgraded to 12GB, Minis bundled with keyboard and mouse, etc etc. Pricing of these is good but not world-beating.

They used to sell iPods only and then after a while they took them out. However they never sold Macs, haven't seen one in US and god why would someone buy a computer from Costco? it's like buying a BMW from walmart....even though I love Costco and their customer service, I just rather go directly to Apple!

You do know you can buy a BMW at Costco, don't you?

So you would happily pay more for something? Why? Just so you can be a snob about it?

I find it interesting to see anything Apple at Costco, but it seems like thats about to change here in the US.

Looks like Apple doesn't want Costco and Sam's Club competing on pricing in the US too much; Costco is only carrying the iPhone and cellular iPad, meanwhile Sam's has the Wi-FI iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, and iPods as well as iTunes Cards. It would be nice if they did start carrying Mac here though. I'm sure there would be quite a bit of savings.

oh no no, if it's cheaper I would buy it from them, but when Costco had iPods, they were like 5$ cheaper than the Apple Online Store. I don't think it's worth 5$ buying from them. If they bring a mac and its 200$ cheaper, I would still buy the online cause I can get a 200$ student discount, now when i graduate and I don't get that discount, then yes I would buy from Costco.

$5 I could understand but looks like savings of $100's against Apples standard prices.

Mac Pro

I think one gets a further 2% off for being an 'Executive Member'...

I saw one at my Watford branch, they look awesome.

One of these days, must give Apple credit for transforming the Pro someday!

Yes you get 2% but not taken off the purchase right there. It goes into your account and at the membership renewal of the card, you can use them to pay the next year membership.

Milton Keynes Costco had them a month ago. Hardly a mainstream consumer item, wonder if they've sold many?

Not true. They did major purchases of Mac Minis more than once. Until the falling out, and Costco USA has not sold Apple anything since.

Through Costco, via local dealers. Not at Costco. At least, in USA.
