Love it! Sums up so much about the ridiculous contemporary Apple: 'Designed' in California, made in Asian sweatshops, sold to everyone for as much as humanly possible, still without recyclable wrapping. AND, this vid without words (American accent ... speak as fast as possible ... 'what's up guys!' ... 'wanted to reach out to you' blather). Still, good to know the yanks can still take the piss out of themselves:

I usually can‘s stand the Unbox Therapy dude, but if you have 7 minutes free (ha!), this is art:

I thought this was hilarious... Until I realised part way through the vid - this is an actual Apple Product... not something he's created...

Seriously, Apple?

For me, buying with my BTO for a discount at $360, my MP7,1 moves/runs faster than the static legs. Using my little finger looped on the top handle allows the MP7,1 to glide out from its hidden space from under the desk with ease, and a big smile on my face when I think of all the other MP7,1s on legs having to be heaved out. For the 2% extra it was a no-brainer. :) Absolutely love them.

You should put it on a leash so you can take it on walks /jk

I understand, I feel like Apple should have made those standard, with the ability to just remove them or replace them with the included legs.

Why on earth is someone going to put wheels on a Mac Pro? If you're going to be unplugging EVERYTHING every single time you need to move it, wheels are not your problem.

I agree. There are so many cables connected to my 7.1 and it has to be very close to the back of the editing desk because a lot of cables barely reach the ports. There is no slack in the system to even roll even a few inches. I guess if you only had an XDR connected and you want to move to multiple editing desks, then its just a couple of cables. But its easier for editors to just switch between computer desks than to move a computer around the room.

The real question is why on earth would you not get the wheels? Besides being absolutely gorgeous, it makes more sense to wheel it around than to pick it up and risk dropping it. And there are people who cannot or should not pick it up. It’s not exactly a lightweight machine.
