The old Mac Pro has finally thrown in the towel, tried to boot but the power light just flashes constantly, In the short term would just like to access the HDD data as it was not fully backed up, at a later date fix the problem so I have a spare.
So wondering, can I just remove the HDD and plug it in to my second Mac Pro and then copy the needed data. ?
is there a ribbon cable in the good Mac Pro that would allow a second drive to be plugged in and do I need to do some sort of switch from master to slave like you do with the (hate to say it here) Windows desktop ?
Thanks in advance
