hello everyone and happy new year.
i have this mac pro
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/...-quad-core-2.66-early-2009-nehalem-specs.html
and succesfully made it to 5.1
Now i want to change the installed memory modules to 32gb
I was wondering if i can use faster speed of 1333mhz instead of the much expensive (WEIRD THOUGH) 1066mhz memory modules. I know it will synchronize in the lower speed, i don't mind
These are the modules i want to buy.

will it work or should i pay more for the slower modules of 1066mhz?

1333MHz memory work with 1066MHz Xeons, but don't spend so much with so little RAM. I, and most people here, usually buy RAM from eBay, you can buy server quality RAM for less than half the price you are looking.

Nice tip, but personally I buy ‘new exact spec’ from mac pro data sheet to avoid any problems.
But that’s just me......;)
