Mac rings after phone call answered on iPhone

I've noticed that every time I get a call on my MacBook and it's not aware that I answered the call on my iPhone, it just keeps ringing until I click "Decline." One would think my Mac would instantaneously be notified that the call was answered on my iPhone.

I can see how this could be annoying.

I was in the shower yesterday and missed a call, my mba wouldn't stop ringing until I pressed decline on the caller id notification... Yes it is real annoying...

Yeah, I have experienced this, but not every time.
