Mac Server Active Directory

Hi

A school we have a huge windows network running active directory. We are looking at running mac os x server.

My question, can I use the mac server to simply administer privileges such as application access for the macs on the network? I don't need any users stored or anything on the mac server as they are all part of active directory.

Yes, you just need to join the Mac OS X Server to the domain.

I hope this SCHOOL is running Microsoft Server 2008s2 or better. It will go so much better if the Domain is that or newer.
