I have a late 2008 iMac, and it is sadly been very slow recently, I get the beachball much to often and i cant even run safari with ease. I have cleared my Cache with CleanMyMac and it still is going very slow. What should I do?

My Macbook Pro 2.23 is going faster then it :/

Repair your permissions. Also, try creating a new user and see if it occurs there as well. If the new user experiences the same problem, either the HDD is going bad or there's something wrong with the OS files and in that case you would want to try an archive and install.
