Mac Storage says Full with APPs but I do not have it ?

Hi Guys,

I have a M2 Mac Mini with 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM and it is showing storage full when I check in General>Storage it says I have 495GB of Application that is utter nonsense !! when I went in there and calculated is is just about.nit even compete 45GB of APPS. So why is it saying so much space of APPS ? What do I do ?
