Mac Store App Refunds or Credit?

Has anyone had any success getting a refund or a credit for an app purchased on the App Store? If so, what’s the process?
i generally receive emails for any purchases, but I haven’t received an email yet. Was hoping to reach out sooner than later.

Normally you'd go through reportaproblem.apple.com and find the order, but it's probably not there yet if you haven't got an email.

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

Some purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Books, or other Apple services might be eligible for a refund. You can use any device with a web browser to request a refund.

They just put the money back into whatever method you used.

Same here. Last time I went through reportaproblem.apple.com and managed to get my money back within a few hours of reporting the problem and asking for a refund.
