I'm looking to buy a Mac Studio (base model) at some point to replace my 2018 Mini. I've always liked buying things from the Apple Refurbished store and am wondering when the Studio might show up there. I know it's a relatively new product, but anyone know generally how long it takes for a new product to show up there? I'm not sure how long I want to wait, but I'd also love the ~$200 discount!

Neither of the MacBook Pros released in October is available refurbished, let alone with an M1 Max chip.
The 14" has shown up in the refurb store a few times already.
So the Studio can definitely show up there in less than 12 months after launch (too early 3 months in though).
tough to stay a lot of orders from March seem to still be back ordered or just being fulfilled. perhaps you qualify for either an education or a business discount?
This is not accurate.
There has been new models in the refurbished store in only a few months. The M1 Mac Mini and M1 MBA hit the Refurbished Store in only three months.
If I had to give an educated guess for an average, I would say 5-6 months.
I would suggest that if you need a new Mac, just get the Mac Studio now. If you can wait, then wait for an Apple refurbished or maybe see what the next Mac Pro might look like.So what you guys are telling me is that I shouldn't hold my breath and should probably just go for it, yeah?

I don't *need* it now, but certain factors are going to keep getting worse which will make using my current setup more difficult. I think I should probably wait a few months and see where we are. Mac Pro will be overkill for me in all liklihood.
