Mine's the same. Text from DHL with a link. "In transit", apparently. But still "preparing to ship" on Apple's site.

I put the tracking number into Parcel (iOS), and it's showing "shipment picked up" from Shenzen.

*edit* Apple's site now shows "shipped" with a delivery estimate of 28th March.

The weirdest thing happened, I got a text from Apple saying my DHL shipment is ready and sure enough the Mac Studio is now "Shipped" despite having an April 4th delivery date.

I'm really confused, especially since my shipment is from the Netherlands and not Shenzhen. So far DHL only says "Shipment information received"
I have a mix of your statuses. Mine seems to be in the Netherlands and I have a delivery date for March 28 now. Apple status moved to "Shipped" just now.

If it really is in the Netherlands I could get it until the 28th by walking there. Normally it takes DHL 1-3 days to get something here from there.

Both the display in the computer said March 18. They both just shipped and the display says it will arrive March 18, but the computer says it will not arrive until Monday. I wonder if there’s any chance it will show up before then or else I will have to wait until the following weekend to set it up

Just got an email and a text, both with an order update. My Studio has shipped and should be arriving on the 25 March. I've got a tracking number with Yamato Transport, but it's not in their system yet. I'll give it a day or so (yeah, right - I'll be refreshing that page constantly) before checking back to see if they have a definite delivery date.

I'm getting the same exact thing through the website, I initially checked with the Apple Store app which shows me the April dates.
My guess as to why is because they only created the label and don't have the actual physical parcel yet. Couriers tend to overshoot estimates when this happens so that they don't get an angry customer calling them about a shipment that hasn't arrived - it's much better to show a date farther away in the future and then dial it back than do the opposited.

Check the DHL tracking website, it should say the shipment has been created but DHL doesn't have the package yet.
This is actually normal: big companies to create labels in advance because they have automated systems in place, whether this means our Macs are actually on the way to the shipment center is anyone's guess but it's definitely a good sign.

Same here! Stills shows delivery on the 21st.
Same here. Apple tends to reflect the more conservative estimates. Considering my Studio is sitting in Louisville this morning, there's no logistical reason it wouldn't be here in Virginia tomorrow.

I suspect UPS is just being conservative as well. FWIW, at work we do a lot of shipping & receiving w/Fedex & UPS. They are both leaning conservative in their delivery estimates lately. Barring weather issues, those devices in Kentucky this morning should (repeat SHOULD) be heading to final destination for the typical release day delivery.

No videos going up… I guess their embargo ends tomorrow when all the normies get it? Could be a little later in the day but that would be unusual, too.

Edit: Just kidding, they’re going up now! The Verge’s is up on YouTube. Let’s go!

WooHoo!

I was one of those without any tracking info at all until just now.

What time did people place their orders? I thought that I had gotten my M1 Max (10/24) / 32GB / 1 TB Studio order pretty soon after the event ended, 19:13 UTC on the confirmation email, but mine still hasn't shown any signs of movement and the ETA is now 1-5 April after being pushed back from first 21-24 March ETA.

Same here except mine now say 3/21. It is in KY going to Maryland, so not sure why not 3/18. Just seems odd that some are ups eta 3/18 and some 3/21 coming from the same location.

Mine too :(. Gone back from ‘Preparing to Ship’ to ‘Processing’, and with the ‘arrives’ date changed from 21-22nd March to 1st-5th April.

Ours must be in the same shipment!
UK - Lots of progress over night it seems. It now says ‘Shipped’ in the Apple store app. I had a message from DHL with a tracking number, and an e-mail from Apple saying it’s expected 28th March :)

I placed my order at 11:29AM Pacific

Still April 7 to April 14, but it took me a day to decide I "needed" the Studio as much as I "wanted" it. Apple has thoughtfully moved the little green bar incrementally on the order status page... or it's a clever optical illusion. Reality distortion field?
