Hi everyone,

I have a nice shiny new Mac Studio and I'm setting it up with an Asus monitor on HDMI (Studio Display still not yet delivered). The Mac fires up, and the Asus seems to recognize a signal as its LED goes white. But, I get nothing on the screen. I know the Mac is working as a voice asks me to select the user language, but I have no content on the monitor. The Asus monitor works, as I'm using it right now on a PC to write this message.

Is the HDMI only available after setup, or something like that?

Thanks, Mark

Working fine on HDMI with a Dell Ultrawide here. Dumb question, do you have the HDMI selected on the monitor?
You could always temporarily use USB-C or mini/DisplayPort

I believe so, because I'm using the monitor on a PC right now via the same HDMI cable I had plugged into the Mac. Ot's the same port on the monitor, only the other end gets switched to the Mac.

Tried that, nut no luck. Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried a different monitor and it worked first time! I have no idea which it didn't like this monitor. Oh well.

Thanks to all for the suggestions!
