Hi,
I would like to know if the Mac Studio with M1 ultra 128go can use 120go of Vram for 3D apps, videos or Pytorch or other things which needs vram.
If someone had tested this mac... thank you

M1 Macs don't have VRAM. The memory is shared between all CPU and GPU cores on the chip.

yes I know, that's why I asked.
something like 120 gb of vram max (and 8 gb min for other tasks)

This is an observation only, not an answer to your question; but the Redshift Benchmark tool reports the GPU RAM at 3/4 of the total system RAM. Whether that's a hardware or software imposed limit on accessible GPU RAM, I'll leave for the local GPU boffins to answer?

interesting, thank you... Is the M1 ultra GPU (according to the total vram available) much better than the RTX A6000 for Machine Learning , Pytorch aso ?

the question is , for example, how much vram available for tensorflow or pytorch

There is no way anyone can answer that question, as there is no set amount of VRAM on an M1 based machine. It all depends on what you're doing at the time. The machine allocates/deallocates RAM and VRAM as needed.

however, it seems that the amount of vram is blocked at a maximum on certain tasks
that's why I asked
but it would be necessary that mac studio ultra's users come and testify
