Over the last couple of days, my Mac Studio has stopped going to sleep on it's own. It's set to sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity, but all of a sudden, it doesn't. There have been no macOS updates, and I don't recall installing any new software of changing any settings... resetting PRAM did nothing... anybody have a clue where to look or what the problem might me?

Try pmset -g assertions in Terminal should list out if sleep is being stopped. Could be a HW or SW device, one of my MBP's did the same recently. unplugged all USB devices and took a restart to get sleep back.

Activity Monitor in Energy has a Preventing Sleep tab that can also reveal a SW culprit.

Thanks for this... looked at the Activity Monitor, and looked at at the Energy tab and under the "Preventing Sleep" column... everything was "NO" except Creative Cloud. I killed the process/app and the Mac now sleeps... Obviously, I need to launch CC to be able to use Photoshop... and not sure what about that is causing the issue on my Mac Studio, but not on my MBA (M1)...

The saga continues, but thanks to your tip, I have a clue now.

Good to hear your at least on the path :) Logically if the MBA sleeps with CC running so should the Studio. You could compare settings and reach out to Adobe or look on it's forums.

I don't have CC so not able to comment on it, I know that some apps will stop sleep dependant on their current action/state which may be a factor with CC.
