I'm a tech follower. Yes, I like Mac OS and Apple stuff, but I also like looking at stuff that cater to Linux and FreeBSD stuff.
I've seen many channels and shows on youtube that have discussions and reviews about Linux like the one done by Bryan Lunduke called the Lunduke Hour / Show. He does shows where he gathers like-minded individuals who sit around and talk about the latest developments in Linux or answering questions from viewers. Something like this.
Yes.. it is super nerdy and techie, but for someone who is a techie and likes watching something like this... I find it entertaining. However I have not seen anything like that for Mac OS or Windows. Are there any youtube channels or shows about everything Mac & Apple?

First, those people have mental problems. macOS is UNIX.

It's not their stupid opinion. Cognitive dissonance, what else?

Second, yes, there are some, but they are very low quality and not geeky. Mainly because macOS is an operating system for productivity, not an operating system for nerds to spend whole days figuring out configurations to end up with a system that doesn't boot, and not an OS for servers also.

I suggest you to listen to Swift Unwrapped and Core Intuition if you are interested in programming. SwiftCoders is nice, but very basic for my taste.

I really like BSDNow, for BSD users.

Check out TWIT.TV - http://twit.tv

They have shows like 'iOS Today' every Monday @ 12pm, 'MacBreak Weekly' every Tuesday @ 2pm.

There's also a FLOSS (open source) Weekly, at some point per week.

You can then stream them at will, once they post them later that evening.

A lot of great tech shows there, been my favorite for years! Not so much geeking out with questions, but great news overall about those tech realms.

Those guys only really care about Linux. Sometimes the opinions of most people from that part of the tech world mostly have really biased views towards big tech companies like Apple, etc. As for myself, I know that Mac OS is officially Unix. On the whole most tech people believe that Mac OS isn't completely UNIX because of its origins with NextStep, etc.

Anyways, this thread is not about that. It is about finding great shows that discuss all things Mac.

They don’t like macOS because for them, macOS took away their Promissed Land.

Back in the 90s they thought that Linux on the desktop was going to be a thing, and it wasn’t, Apple’s OS ended up much more popular. macOS is also seen as a leecher of the open source community, because macOS can leech open source software packages like Inkscape, but we obviously aren’t limited to free open source software, so if there is a need, macOS programmers can choose and often choose a closed source approach. And when Mac people release open source software, rarely we use GPL license they want.

So, it’s like asking to a communist if Bernie Sanders is socialist. They will say “no”.

Yeah, opinions of those partidary people are stupid. For example, ATP, they spend countless hours throwing s**** at Apple, because every little detail of some products, e.g. the new MBP, then... they proceed to buy more Apple products for themselves. Somebody tell them it’s okay to use Samsung, Google and Microsoft and even HP stuff. They end up saying something similar to “oh, those are perfect products, but they don’t have a bitten apple, so I’m not buying them yet...”

Lunduke and Hartley and more than a couple others are kinda unique to the Linux world and you're not going to find them on the Mac side. LUG's managed to go virtual and thrive which is why you see an abundance of nerds making videos but MUG's didn't.
