Once I download a movie onto my computer using mac the ripper, how do I then convert the movie so I can dowloand it to my video ipod. Thanks for you help, in advance.
 
Open it in QuickTime Pro and then choose Export to iPod is the short answer, although the thread should tell you how to do this without springing 30 bucks for Pro.

I agree about the QuickTime Pro, it makes it a lot easier to do and works great.
 
Forget that, use handbrake. It's WAY faster. The only tricky part is ensuring that your settings are correct.
 
I reckon you should try: Searching the forum!! Mac the Ripper/Handbrake... has been covered so many times already...
