Mac username change.

Hey everyone.
Hope you're having a nice day.
Alright, so you know when you open the finder and in the left sidebar it has that like little house icon and then the name. Usually below Desktop and above Applications.

Anyway, mine is my iTunes account email address, and I want to change it to my name.
How can this be done? Because right now it's like my email without the @gmail.com part.
And I don't even know why it's there.
Help please

It's a somewhat complex ordeal, but here's a tutorial from Apple.

That said, changing your Full Name as seen in the login window (if you have more than one username), is done in System Preferences>Accounts.

Create a new account, enable file sharing in the new account and your old account and transfer over all your documents, delete old account.
