Please don't jump down my throat if this has been answered. I have looked and all I see is that it "should" work. I have the gma950 macbook 2GHz, 1 gig RAM. Has anyone really tried it on their macbook? It is too expensive for me to buy to just try it, but I'm hoping someone here did. Again, sorry if this has been answered.

yes, it will work, however; it runs ok, but not as fast is it could. since its a PPC application the performance takes a minor hit when rosetta translates to run intel. its a great game, but the pc counterpart is IMO faster, better, and more stable.

What do you define OK as...can you elaborate on that at all?

I was just wondering this myself...disappointed there will not be a SimCity 5 as the fans of previous generations knew it.

Why not just get the universal update for Intel?

Anyway, it works very well BUT there may be issues with the video card. The problem is the scrolling, while cars will animate smoothly the scroll action will be jerky. This is not a problem with all cards, mainly ATI.

Give it a try, the Intel update is free but may only apply to the Rush Hour and Deluxe versions. Check out the Aspyr site.

By the way, I play this game A LOT.

thanks for the answers. I will pick up the game soon. It'll be the deluxe version which I believe has a UB patch.
